PROJECTOR TVS? YOU GOT ONE?
hey anyone and everyone, have any of you guys or gals go projector screens. if you have what type and is it any good? ive checked a load of reviews and finally parted with someone elses money (credit card scam, i can really say more than that for obvious reasons) ((none of you are Mrs J Opadopolis are ya?)) anyway how about a pic to show us the quality? TVs are dead they are a box that gets in the way and NEEDS to be dusted? plus small 50" old school! i saw the video game thread and a lot of you guys must have em, especially over the pond where everything is supersized, you know who you are, your currently reading this with a massive grins on your faces reflecting back at ya off your 30" TFT's each of these letters is 1" by 1" LOL gits! I've got a 60" rear proj. Sony XBR and I love it. Maintenance is pretty inexpensive and as long as you get a service plan, the bulbs are covered.

I have a Pioneer Elite, and I think it's got one of the best pictures I've seen on any of the TVs.

Re: PROJECTOR TVS? YOU GOT ONE?
Changing the projector bulb is not a weekly event apmaman. The process is so simple, even a 5 year old can do it. Bulb replacement is based upon tv usage, si if the tv is going to be used everyday, you can easily get a couple of years out of a bulb.

Re: PROJECTOR TVS? YOU GOT ONE?
Changing a bulb in a projector is even easier, just read the instructions and you should be alright..

Re: PROJECTOR TVS? YOU GOT ONE?
Okay, the projector arrived, with a police escort. no kidding aside the projector turned up and within minutes it was plugged in a turned on focused in and maxed out for the room im putting it in. im gonna have the wall skimmed by my mate (he doesnt know yet) and then painted in a suitable white paint. anyone done this themselves? any advice is more than welcome, as long as its free! anyway maxed and focus and i nearly fell over TVs are dead, this thing cost 400 and its at 80" up close you can see the individual pixels but sitting down, its like you just doubled the size of your 30 tv and then added your next door neighbours too, from both side of you house, it really quiet... nothing can drown out my tinitus! i will try and add a photo when its darker latter of a film, i took a few but they were pritty crap, although to the eye it was awsome! i would like to do it justice. if your thinking of going HD and spending 1000 on say a 50" seriously look into a better one of these i couldnt afford it. no big lumbering Box clutttering up your room, attach it to a pc and sort out a ditital pci card then you have digital tv and dvd recording capabilitys, get a HD drive installed, 5.1 surround play your music your DVDs your Divx your Xvids your Mp3's your streaming internet content, you know i think i could sell these things. heres a pic of the blank screen for now. never mind the quality look at the width!
HAGO
alan (sorry pic size too big, and my camera has died again sorry, i will replace it later)
