A friend of mine uses Rhapsody, he pays $9 a month to listen to a whole song without "buying" it. If you want to burn a cd or download to a MP3 player, I think you have to pay 88¢ per song. He loves it.
I finally got an iPod and it is giving my Sirius radio a real run for the money as far as play time goes. I use iTunes too.
I once signed up on a website that turned out to be a Russian operation and you could download full albums as MP3s for pennies. I don't think it was legal though and I never used it.
Oh another thing I do is to import files into Cakewalk Sonor Studio 7 and then I can burn it as whatever type of file I want.
