ok listen up u.s.a people.im a bit of a gambler (horse racing).i was in my local bookmakers yesterday and i was looking at the odds for the world series.i dont know the first thing about baseball (not televised in england).WHOS GOING TO WIN.whos the best team.i like big bets so good advice please.cheers rob

A person after my own heart. I love betting on horses. I've never had the oppurtunity to bet on thouroughbreds, but I spent literally every Saturday at the harness track with my friends this summer. Such a blast, even if I did lose my ass. But I can't help it, every Saturday was dollar draft night, and I took full advantage of it. Or maybe it took advantage of me....

Anyway, back on topic...
From what I've seen the lines from various places are pretty consistently banking on the Red Sox. But I've only seen the lines for the first three games. After that I don't know.

Ib777........Boston has a more experienced team and better pitching as well
as home field advantage. IMHO Boston in 6.

Bear in mind though....I'm from Boston......lol!!

Looks like it's already over for the Rockies, but atleast they almost had a story to tell. The NL is just not as good as the AL.

Yeah, it doesn't matter if the final score was 100 to 1, the only thing that matters is the series is at 1-0. Game 2 will be a huge indication if that was a fluke or not.

I tried to find one to post, but they were all x-rated

Man the Sox are an awesome team, ube. On top of that, all the luck seemed to go your way with the slightly fair ball hits, etc. Plus first game jitters!! The Rox seemed so flat compared to how they had been.

I guess I'm eating my words on the "time off thing"
