Re: Rockies!

Yup,out to Colorado.....should be a bit tougher for the Sox. They're gonna
have to sit down either Ortiz,Lowell,or Youkilis in each game there. Gotta
worry about Manny's defense in a bigger leftfield too. Not too worried about
Josh Fogg though....or Cook for that matter. Daisuke's running on fumes now
though,he's thrown 1,000 more pithches this season than any other season
of his career. He gives us 5 good innings,I'll be happy. John Lester in game 4
can be pretty good though.

I really thought tonights game was important though...better to go out there
up 2-0 than tied.

BTW,what was up with Holliday in the 8th? Man,talk about a brain cramp!!

Thanks! I didn't know that. I'll have to check out Detroit's games sometime.

Nevermind, I was way off. I was thinking of something else. The only thing we have from the Flordia Marlins is the GM and Manager, as well as Pudge. For some reason I was thinking Kenny Rodgers and a couple of our infielders were on that team too.

Anyway, why didn't Boston use Buchholz? He did pitch a no-hitter this year. I think it was only one of two pitched the entire season in baseball.

Best catcher in baseball today. And will go down in history as one of the best catchers period. He knows how to call a ballgame.

And you can still check them out. They get better and better. One of the best farm systems in baseball as well. Then again, I'm a bit biased.

They shut him down for the season. They're super cautious with the
young pitchers........they didn't feel it was worth jepordizing his long
term well being by overworking him. It would be nice to have him on
the post season roster though,he's got real good stuff.

Is that backyard or back door? Just be glad the Rockies had an impressive season, you dont need to watch them lose it all at the end. Remember the good times man.

I thought so. Nice 12-6 curve.

But I do see that reasoning. It would be horrible to destroy such an obvious young talent making him pitch more than he's used to. I do look forward to seeing more from him.
