Re: Saw a couple of great movies recently (recommend a movie master thread)
Immortals - I love thid kind of movie but it's freaking boring.Awesome scenery and cool effects but you get them with money and not talent, talent should be used to write its story. It doesn't flow, dialogues are short, there's no acting, they say 3 or 4 phrases then end of discussion.Boring.
Abraham Lincoln: Vampire Hunter - Boring too.Of course USA people can relate to it because of history but it's boring, it's just a crap boring vampire movie which they added Lincoln to make people relate to history then make more money. In fact they're not even vampires cause they changed vamp rules

Re: Saw a couple of great movies recently (recommend a movie master thread)
Blood Creek - They spend millions with actors and effects why not with good writers?
Gimme only a mesa boogie and I'll write a 1000 times better story, I used to write in high school and everybody used to love my stories, specially the terror/thriller ones.
But it's a good movie to kill an hour if you're waiting for someone or something to happen

I recently watched "Wrath of the Titans". Same cast, Andromeda was yummy.
Good action sequences but almost entirely predictable. Probably the reason for its shorts stay in the theaters.

Yeah definitely predictable... My son is the biggest fan of Greek mythology I've ever met and he hated it. He left in the middle of the movie and went in his room to play xbox... Great visuals and effects, but a meh story...

Yep, it's dark, funny, sad, happy and weird at the same time.

Prometheus = Only scenery is beyound belief...................AMAZING.I was expecting a really deeper story, it's not bad but it adds nothing to that kind of story, I couldn't relate to any character cause they're shallow, it didn't matter if they were dead or alive, feeling good or in pain cause whatever they were feeling, their shallowness kept me away from feeling it too.Still a must see for those who like sci fi and again scenery is...........AMAZING!

That movie could have been so much better if it actually had a decent story. You're right though the scenery was awesome, just a nonexistent storyline...
