Do I even need to say it?
Crossroads.
I've seen it a million times.
Sometimes I just skip to the end for the duel.

I love horror movies. And I loved both Dracula and Fright Night. There's been some really ****ty Dracula films though! My favourite one is the one starring Gary Oldman. Blade is another cool vamp film
Some other classic horror: The Howling and The Evil Dead (all of them)

I am with you on that - I don't think it was bad, but after hearing so much about it I was disappointed. Nowhere near, say, Akira...
Oh, another good anime I recall watching is Jin-Roh: The Wolf Brigade...

There's a second one too. It's supposed to be good, but after seeing the first one I'm not so eager to see it. You could click on the pic for a review.
Now here's an anime which I find really
cool
.
Another great Hayao Miyazaki film. You could click on the pic for a clip.
Myst
I've seen the second one too and it is great
.

Blade is a real cool movie if you erase part 2 and 3.

Yeh, 2 and 3 were just okay. If you think the last two were bad, you should watch the TV series, pile of ****e!

LOL! Yeh, it's bad, trust me you don't want to watch it! Kirk Jones plays Blade instead of Wesley Snipes, a very poor substitute imo.

Re: Saw a couple of great movies recently (recommend a movie master thread)
Yeah, the original 'Blade' film was far far better than the 2 sequels that followed. Blade 2 and Blade Trinity were not 'awful' films by any means, but I never thought that they compared to the original. The original is just one of those films that you can watch over and over again. Its just cool.
The comic books/graphic novels of 'Blade' are brilliant too, I have some of those in my collection.

+1... i can't get why they keep having nice-looking baby-faced guys to play those kind of roles. great actors of course, but they should also be "believable" in their roles.

if you didn't like the first one, then do NOT watch the second. it is terribly boring, for the most part it's filled with senseless and dull chatting that take you to nowhere, oh gawd... the only nice moment is the opening titles scene, with the cyber woman assembling.
i'm still waiting for the 25th Anniversary Blade Runner's Final Cut to be on theaters...

Robert DeNiro or Al Pacino would have been a million times better!!!
The Illusionist was pretty good!!!
The Prestige was even better!!!
Fearless was great too!!! (Jet Li's final movie!!!! he is retired now
)
The Protector: non stop action and a new Martial arts classic!!!
I ordered The Prestige based on your opinion.
Really good movie.
Thanks for the heads up.

*Just saw Borat, pretty funny, the deleted scenes are even better IMO
* Lets go to Prison is a good rental too, kind of dark and funny.
**bonus I'm in it!**
Still shot below:

Re: Saw a couple of great movies recently (recommend a movie master thread)
I got Borat yesterday actually, but haven't got around to watching it yet. I wanted to watch it when it was released at the cinema, but never got around to it. I must set some time aside to watch the DVD soon. So many people I know have said its one of the funniest films they have seen in a very long time. And I was always a Sasha Baron Cohen fan anyway.
