shipping to UK
i was wondering how much it cost to ship a guitar to UK from within the states?
more information, im in Denver, CO. the guitar doese not have a hardcase but will be packed like the size of the cardboard box that came from ibanez when you buy a new guitar.
i don't know if i can use fedex or UPS, yes i want insurance on it.

I had my guitar ship from the states to Germany with FedEx (2 day express delivery) that cost me (with insurance) $ 200. This should give you an upper limit
.

Re: shipping to UK
Using UPS Express it costs around $270 (for a 3 day service).
Its the customs tax thatll really grab you though. Customs charge 24% of the value of the guitar.

Re: shipping to UK
Use the US Postal Service Airmail Priority, or whatever they call it; it's 4 to 10 days, costs 100 bucks, and it arrives fine all the time (I think).

Ask Gurj how long the last Airmail I sent him took, I think it was 3 weeks.

It worked fine and without a hitch for me, but I've only used it 3 times. All 3 were perfect, but YMMV

Yup, last two times infact. Mind you, one of the deliveries was over the Christmas period, so I was expecting it to take a bit longer. Of course USPS charge less, so I don't mind the wait

Re: shipping to UK
GPM [Global Priority Mail] has a weight limit of 4 pounds and no insurance available, so I'm not sure what you shipped but it wasn't a guitar.
