Sick of Flash advertising?

If you're like me, you get sick of flash advertising shoved down your throats when you go to certain websites.

Now, they didn't bother me too much until recently, when I found that annoying mosquito ad everywhere I go. Some of you may know I have a stupid problem with my ear and certain noises put me in pain, so every time that ad came on I nearly punched straight through the PC monitor because of the ridiculous high-pitched "ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ!!!" noise.

Anyway, I found this really cool piece of software called "No! Flash" that blocks flash adverts and doubles as a spyware blocker. It's great, you can go to a website and read without having something flickering around next to what you are trying to read.

I must be the only one that hates flash adverts then.

It is annoying and I hate it, especially when it freezes your computer for a minute or two while it's happening.

The only disadvantage to this software is it prevents you from using YouTube because they use flash

If you download the executable and install it yourself, or script it for install on a number of machines, it also sets rights on HKLM registry keys (in CLSID) to "Everyone-Deny" which can break applications written in Flash or with Director dependancies. If you use it, use their install and install it from the web. Adobe gives NO support for enterprise use of free software.
