Re: Skull thickness

Hit each with a hammer and find out. Or throw a watermelon off a building, then dive off head first.

Its pretty obvious, watermelons breaks fairly easily, skulls dont.

Re: Skull thickness

Like my step brother says that a watermelon will have the same damage as a skull if a bullet would go through it. but i dont think that the skull has the same strength as a watermelon. isnt the skull like harder then like metal right?

You might as well say a bullet would do the same damage to a skull sized egg shell.

but thats what would happen.

so therefore a skull is the same thickness as an egg.

glad we got that sorted.

Re: Skull thickness

Just when I thought the new spellings of "Asian" couldn't get any dumber, they do.

And how about you just Google the typical thickness of a watermelon and the typical thickness of a skull? Simple research skills.

Re: Skull thickness

Obviously the skull is stronger, but if you're just talking the human head, they are about the same density which is why they use watermelon's as examples on those show's that test weapons. By far though the outer shell of a watermelon has no comparison to the strength of a human skull...and no human bone isn't as strong as metal.
