Good thing I didn't buy a Jem on the credit card I guess then... (would a Mayan apocalypse be a good enough excuse?)

Even if the world had ended, the debt collectors would be after you even in the afterlife

I'd laugh if it weren't certainly true!

Meh, well into the 22nd here. Unless the apocalypse is pretty much the same it's a non-event.

The woman even said that "though there were charges of white college crimes to some, that's not what this is about"
To me, that is part of what it was about.
I could go to the mall down the street and punch a big dude in the face, and beat the hell outta him for no reason. Then when I get interviewed, I could say he attacked me and it was self defense, and convince the audience I was mistreated and make them empathize with me. I don't trust any media, because they all have their own agendas and nothing is ever truthful.
It's all a matter of sifting through 1 million pounds of crap to find that 1 pound of truth.
While there may have been guilty parties involved that really wasn't the point of the story, It was how the "raid" took place. There was no need for military like action to serve a warrant for non violent crimes. Not to mention the lack of availability for anyone to contact an attorney. Im sure the story was somewhat slanted to get the point across, but this type of thing still happens.

I'm eagerly looking forward to all of the doomsdayers/survivalists who were bunkered down for the big event crawling back out of their holes and having to face the music. Should be a bunch of good news stories this weekend.

Not to put religion into it, so I'll just mention a person. We had our Catholic priest over last night for my wife's birthday party.
Was pretty funny watching him get sloshed and laughing about the apocalypse at midnight.
He's Filipino and a complete riot!
I figured he'd have one drink and be done. Nope!
He got pretty hammered. By the fourth drink he really got into it.
I can't drink, and can't imagine how much funnier he would have appeared if I was drunk.
He was the best entertainment I've seen in a long time....lol.
Classic.
This made my night!!!
