This story makes me mad. On 9/11 of all days we get this story

Tell me what the difference is between saying what she has said and saying if she was Muslim she'd join Al Qaeda? Imagine the outrage then!!

Yea, just what the world needs, another idiot actress. People like her think that because they make movies that their opinions should out weigh those of the common folk.

Some people are just stupid.
Some are confused but some are just plain stupid.

Terrible day today, remember watching Sky News and BBC News at work 7 years ago and not believing what I was seeing.
Because of the time difference (UK is 5 hours ahead and most of Europe 6 hours ahead) everybody here was awake, aware and glued to a TV.

As far as 9/11/01 goes I remember it perfectly. i was just leaving Heathrow airport returning from the US after being at the top of one of the towers a few days before

I'd like to hear more of the background of her statement (the media typically only reports sound bytes instead of everything that is said), but, either way, the critical thing to me is how morons like her are clueless about the world around them and then they are in a movie and get one side of a story or issue (and the writer's one side at that) and then believe they know what's what. Typical uneducated fool.

Yeah after colonising, civilising and educating the known world for 200 years and then ruling it for 200 more leaving it's legacy/culture/values behind so we may have kick a$$ countries like the USA, Canada, Australia, New Zealand and South Africa.

I think all in all the British Empire was very beneficial to the world as a whole.

Do you ever ask yourself how can a country right on the door step of the mighty USA, preferential trading partner and a massive insourcing powerhouse like Mexico who was never threatened by communism or WWII be doing so poorly economically and has a rich/poor disparity that's worse than most industrialised countries?
Culture/values and legacy my friend, culture and legacy.

The British Empire kicked a$$ and I'm glad it did it as well as that as now I don't need to learn another language to communicate with fine people on this fine forum.
