Glad it's not mine, but unfortunately somebody sent me this to do a pro setup on after he got his 1000BP. Nothing out of the ordinary, it sat in the corner all day until that night when the owner happened to email to confirm receipt, so that was a good time to do an inspection just in case there were any owner flaws that needed to be noted before putting it in line. Needless to say, this was a surprise

Gawd, that's just horrible...... you have to assume that to cause that much damage the guitar would have to have been removed from it's case at some stage, no? Otherwise the case would be in matchstick sized pieces i would have thought...... ugh!

My thoughts are that someone definitely tampered with it!!!
It is sad how envious could people be, that guitar is in a really sad state of affairs...
It is scary to think that it could actually be your guitar!!! I always worry when I get guitars shipped that they would get home safe and sound!!!!

The fact that is missing a knob and stuff is a dead giveaway that someone messed with it and the damage was not really from the mishandling of the package!!!

Perhaps some frustrated Fedex guy that always wanted a JS1200 in candy red but was never able to afford it took it out on the poor guitar...

Look like it got ran over, and I hope it was insured.

However, any shipping company can screw up a package, it is just UPS does it more often in my experience.
