That uplifting feeling...

Hi guys,

Do any of you get that uplifting, heavenly feeling when playing your guitars? I just got it big time just then.

For the past 2 weeks I haven't been able to play my guitar due to a co ckatiel-related injury. But just then played and I feel so light.

Funnily the co ckatiel's name is Stevie...

Anyway, I just thought I'd share my current feelings of warmth, and happiness with everyone during this festive season .

He's a new co ckatiel, but 10months old already and not quite hand trained yet. He got a bit scared and dug about a 5mm crater into my left index finger. Right through the callous!!!

Muchly painful.

Silly bird.

The "crater" is still there, but not as big and no longer scabby. It did start to hurt after a few minutes of playing, but I guess this will make the callous grow back quicker.

I named him Stevie cause he does this crazy trill thing with his voice that sounds like Vai tapping and string skipping.

His name is Curry. I have a girl named powder. (get it? Curry Powder)

Curry is fully tame, but powder is semi-tame. She bit me pretty bad too, but just keep trying. I found that they are a bit easier to handle and a little calmer when they are full, so give him a big treat, and the handle him.
