Amen, safe to say I won't be going to Wally World. Will start at a Music store in downtown next to two pawn shops amp shopping and if nothing is found there end up at the store cloest to me. A bud of mine owns a music store so his is first hit. I fixed his transmission for free this past summer so he kinda owes me

Re: The "What did you get for Christmas" thread!

I got an iPod Classic 160GB, £20 iTunes card, few Blu-Rays (Planet Earth and Weeds 1 and 2) and a bunch of aftershave sets.
I'm also going to get myself a standalone Blu-Ray machine (have PS3 now) in the sales.

Darin, I LOVE the pj's.
Thanx for the link - I'll be getting a pair for Mrs Dex.

The standard gift sets (after shave + full body gel / deodorant kit and nice pouch to boot), chocolates, a guarantee to buy a new sofa in my dorm (YAAY), some music CDs (classical and Spanish guitar, Gregorian chants), a nice sweater a nice bathrobe and my brother got me the coolest present... a Boss RC 20XL looping station. Can't wait to get back to my dorm to fire it up.

Re: The "What did you get for Christmas" thread!

In probably the most shocking turn of events, a PRS SE! Didn't see that one coming at all. Nice to be able to play one in my own time and space. I've come to the conclusion that they're on a par with Epiphone LPs... not bad at all if you've seen my recent thread. In fact, I was shocked with how low I managed to get the action on this thing. Very happy, came in blue matteo!

Got Slash's book too, should be a good read. It's a shame Vai doesn't have a book out, or Gilbert, I'd love to hear some of their stories.

10 Really Nice Bow Ties - (I know most people don't like them, but I love them!!!)
My wife also helped pay for a J-Custom RG8470A (Of course, it was for my birthday/Christmas (this year and next year) and our 9th and 10th Year Anniversaries - It was worth it )
Merry Christmas!!!

My camera batteries are flat but you all know what one of these looks like It's sortof like a christmas/going away present from dad since I'm moving to Mackay next year to do my music degree.

Gibson Custom U.S.A. ES 335 reissue

I've heard all the critisisms of gibsons, they are all quite valid but my word this sound lovely.

On par? At LEAST on par...IMO, the SEs are leagues ahead of most Epiphones out there!

I got a Wii, plus Guitar Hero III and Super Mario Galaxy for it, House Season 1, an iTunes gift card, Rugby for Dummies, and some clothes.

My grandmothers both sent me a rather nice sum of money, and I plan to buy a new iPod with it. Mine's all screwy.
