I got what i asked for...motorola S9 bluetooth headset. Makes my phone an audioplayer, as well as a phone...without all the wiring.

I'm not sure if i'll look supercool or superdorky, but I'll be happy either way

That's not including the current Chinese crap of course

Re: The "What did you get for Christmas" thread!

I finally got an iPod (which is nearly full already,) a $15 iTunes card, a docking station for the iPod and a skin, $100 in Sirius gift cards, and Nikki Sixx's "Heroin Diaries." Got some clothes too.

My son was dying for a BC Rich Beast, so he got one of those along with a Line 6 Spider. Very fun.

We also got Guitar Hero 3, and last night we got the 3 Red Rings of Death, so now I have to send the X360 back to Microsoft for repair.

Re: The "What did you get for Christmas" thread!

me and the wife decided that this year we'd spend more on the kids because it's gonna be the last christmas my eldest one believes in santa however i did cheat and bought the wife a Tanzanite ring (HINT: guys if you want to invest in something other than JEMs, buy Tanzanite, she'll love you for it!)

my wife got me a BIG book on Da Vinci with pull out documents and things, Troy on DVD coz i've just finished studying the Classics, some spare sets of strings, ALWAYS useful, and some cash 'to put towards a cd' coz she's lost track of my CD collection!

the best present for the kids was STAR WARS LEGO!! yes i've cleared several levels while they were in bed last night

oh and i forgot, tickets for front row seats for satch in may at Birmingham (thanx dad!)

Very happy, came in blue matteo!

Got Slash's book too, should be a good read. It's a shame Vai doesn't have a book out, or Gilbert, I'd love to hear some of their stories.
Pics ! pics! pics! please

Re: The "What did you get for Christmas" thread!

My camera phone does the finish NO justice:

I love these cool moon inlays too:

The only thing it needs is some locking tuners, but it's that good I'll go the whole hog and upgrade everything bar the actual body and neck

Just noticed the light doesn't show the brushed chrome on the trem. Doesn't capture that its sort of cyan-coloured, and lot more flamey too

I thought that before I posted it.

What I mean is the actual guitar itself is good but the tuners, bridge and nut let it down

I got a ton of VW Camper Van related stuff.

A metal sign, 2 t-shirts, 2 mugs, a pull back model, a remote control and a Key ring, ALL VW Van's....

The rest was just money thats going to get me a HDTV and a Peavey Windsor Studio when they finally come out.
