That's VERY surprising to me. I can't imagine it's a tuner problem. they'd have to be turning as your playing. Sounds more like a string problem. Put some new 10's on that baby stretch the stink out of em and you really should be good to go.

It's probably the nut. I was having really bad issues, and it turned out to be the nut filed incorrectly. Even with 9s, the nut on my SE was a little tight.

Re: The "What did you get for Christmas" thread!

Birthday was on Sunday, so the main thing was a fistful of vouchers because "I don't know what gear you still need". Clever girl. The rest was split between a new dressing gown and a couple of DVDs.

Guitar Hero 80s for my nieces.
New camera (Sony) for my beloved. New guitar pics coming soon.
Dropped a couple of bottles off at the music shop on Saturday. Spotted a Squier strat, red with off white pickguard, a bit shopsoiled and going for next to nothing. Father in law is a HUGE Hank Marvin fan, doesn't have a strat (plays a 64 Hofner), so that's his next several birthdays/christmases taken care of. Actually I was pleasantly surprised by the Squier. Bridge and tuners really need changed out, but otherwise it's not a bad guitar.

I got a new PC, cool flamey guitar strap and the usual aftershave, chocolates, socks type things.

I love these cool moon inlays too:

The only thing it needs is some locking tuners, but it's that good I'll go the whole hog and upgrade everything bar the actual body and neck

Just noticed the light doesn't show the brushed chrome on the trem. Doesn't capture that its sort of cyan-coloured, and lot more flamey too
That is a great guitar. Work out the bugs and it shuold be excellent as is. You won't "need" to upgrade anything unless you really want to.

To be honest, I must admit that I do like the look of brushed chrome tuners though so it wouldn't just be a tuning stability upgrade

Well really good tuners are always nice even if just for the smoothness factor.

Thanks Jaden , this has got to be the best player I got in a long long time .
Perfect set up straight out of the box .
I cant find a single flaw on it , and I,m a real picky twat .

I want another to put some Breeds in . The Seymours are brilliant but i'd love to hear this one with a set of Breeds .
