Shana Tova to all.

Ramadan kicks off tonight as well so best of luck to those of you who would try and stick to it.

Sticking through it this year, hopefully. Usually something happens that makes me break my fast early (either sickness or drinking after playing football. Not this year!

Re: To any one who celebrates it...

We recently moved into a largely Jewish neighbourhood, and yesterday a local Jewish youth group left an apple and a little jar of honey at our door, along with some literature explaining Rosh Hashanah. The whole neighbourhood had a really exciting feel yesterday with everyone out and about. Though we're not Jewish we feel really welcomed by the local Jewish community. It's great. Plus there are a lot of bagel shops. Best wishes to those celebrating Rosh Hashanah.
