Top ten

Imagine your house is burning down and you can save only 10 cd´s. Which of them would you take with you?

Here is my selection:

Passion and Warfare, (Steve Vai)
Alien Love Secrets, (Steve Vai)
Eat ´m and Smile, (Dave Lee Roth)
Slip of the Tongue, (Whitesnake)
Metropolis pt. 2, (Dream Theater)
Marching Out, (Malmsteen)
Lean Into It, (Mr. Big)
Passion, Grace and Fire, (Lucía-Mc Laughlin-Al di Meola)
Superheroes, (Racer X)
Greatest Hits (Queen)

Van Halen - 5150
Extreme - 3 sides
Andy Timmons - This is then ...
Bon Jovi - Crush
Def Leppard - Hysteria
Steve Vai - Reflections
Ozzy - Tribute
Bryan Adams - Reckless

Re: Top ten

I have three CD cases... I'd just grab those. That way I would be able to save about 250 CDs instead of searching for just 10. Also, I'd be sure to grab my Jem... and I suppose make sure the wife and kid got out of the house too....

Re: Top ten

I'm with Knightmeir - my CD's are replaceable, my guitars are not.

Besides, I'd spend so long narrowing it down to ten that I'd go with the house.

I´m not married, I don´t have kids and the only decent guitar I have is a 555, so I would let her have a nice sunburst!

Re: Top ten

That's tough. I like too many albums out there.
It would be insane to just list 10.

That´s what I want. Make you choose only 10. (At first I wrote 5, but it was too difficult to me let so many magistral works out).

Re: Top ten

Well, since you didn't state otherwise, i'm assuming that any of the cd's could be replaced. With that in mind, here are the ones i would grab thinking that they're either "out of print" or very hard/expensive to find:

1-Eddie Hazel "Games,Dames, And Guitar Thangs" limited edition re-issue
2-Shrine "Psycha"
3-Joe Diorio "20th Century Impressions"
4-Tuu "One Thousand Years"
5-LCD "Endorfun"
6-Larry Mitchell s/t
7-Larry Mitchell "Mind-Body-Soul"
8,9,10- my own original music
peace
