The sleep thing is called sleep paralysis, it's when you wake up before your body re-establishes it's movement. Some get hallucinations with them which has caused many false alien abduction claims/ other random claims or it just scares you a lot. In general your body essentially disconnects when you sleep so you don't act out dreams but sometimes you wake up before you regain control

It depends on a lot of conditions to have the paralysis or hallucination. I think really bad migraines do it to me.

i'm going to read all these very cool posts later but for now i will post my thoughts, in brief...cuz there are a lot.

UFO - never saw one and was never interested in them. i'm sure there is other life out there...the universe never ends. i do believe the government works on things without us knowing. area 54...government situation with MANY weird things goin' on there! as i said before, a friend of mine was in the special forces, as was a friend of his. his friend was assigned to various parts of area 54. when asked if there was anything not of this earth there he said he isn't allowed to speak of it. but he did say... i'm not saying there is but i'm not saying there isn't.

Conspiracy theory - the government is behind everything to make themselves look better. my thoughts....
1 - we were never on the moon! ever seen the photos with multiple light sources! why haven't we gone back? government BS like everything else.
2- government was behind JFK
3- government was behind 911. didn't anyone see that the hole in the pentagon was way smaller than a jumbo jet's wing span? didn't you find it weird there was no wreckage in the field where the plane supposedly crashed outside of the pentagon? these are just starters. there is so much more. i believe that the government / Bush needed a reason to go to war with the middle east. they did an evil act to get the american people behind them. i have heard this from many people...in the military as well.
4-ghosts. many stories on this. i have many friends with homes that were terribly haunted. i have many cool stories...some of which i witnessed. poltergeists, moving furniture, noises, sounds, etc. i have done a lot of research on the paranormal. that reminds me...i gotta get on the ball and book my haunted ghost tours of chicago. we try to do it once each time this year.

Man you can't be serious, we've landed on the moon and we will again with project constellation. Just project constellation is goin to actually build things on the moon. They are testing the projects ship tomorrow and I'll see it's test launch tmrw. (Was suppose to be today but it was very windy and bad conditions.)

LMFAO, Reminds me of Ali G. I think your getting mixed up with Studio 54, that was a night club thats now closed down. You mean Area 51.

I will be the 1st to admit the Gov't and most in fact, have skeletons. JFK, most likely was an inside job. But Lunar Landing?
You don't think mankind is capable of putting a man on the moon, poppy****, I say.
It speaks to our absolute essence to explore and push the boundaries.
If we didn't go to the moon, then the Earth is still flat and we aren't in America having this conversation right now.

My experience was quite recent;

I went to bed with the cat , same as everynight. Fell asleep quite easy.
Went into a vivid dream where i met this teenaged girl and her little bro who was crying and very upset "i cant go into my room!" so i said, lets take a look. We went up and i went into the room...

BANG! i instantly awake with a horrible horrible feeling in the room , not your typical nightmare feeling , much more primordial.

So i go back to sleep. Straight back into the dream , this time going up the stairs with churchfolk who are reading Psalms and blessing the house. They go into the front bedroom, and i linger behind kindof sussing out the room.

BANG! i violently wake again with an even worse feeling , asif ive been told GET THE **** OUT OF HERE , YOU HAVE NO BUSINESS HERE. by this time my head was fryed, i didnt like it atall. The cat was also pacing the room and scratching at the door to get out of the house. I let her out and went back to bed.

So i fall asleep for the third time. Back in the bedroom on my own. I lay down on her bed and look at the ceiling.

BANG! i "awake" in this semi conscious mode , completely frozen and paralyzed with a massssive weight on my chest , invisible presence. At the same time i could feel a huge muscular arm punch down through my neck and face , through the bed and through the floor. It was a bizarre feeling , and i was in no doubt it was a show of strength ,kindof " witness my power , i can defy your laws of physics and occupy the same atomic psace as you do" it was HORRIBLE , then it started to fade and i heard by my ear thee most unusual voice , like a lot of voices multilayered at once , but -speaking on the inbreath- instead of the ehxhale as humans do "I can see and speak with you"

I awoke totally horrified, 5am-ish , and didnt go back to bed. Took me 2 days to get back to a normal level , read some psalms in each room and asked for it not to come back.

It hasnt. But even more horrifying is when i researched it, it is a proper phenomenon called Sleep Paralysis / Old Hag Syndrome. Enjoy some of these ghastly pics:

sounds pretty full on dude!! glad its left you alone. Like Mr Killer said, the human mind is a powerful thing is so true.....if you convince yourself enough, you can manifest whatever you want!! Still, im at a loss with whats hapened to you....but i can relate to the 'speaking in tongues voices' you heard.....my experience with that was like hearing 20 or so voices all trying to say something different to me and a weird ancient language...can be bloody scarey if you let it get to ya.....hard not to though!! ....these voices stopped as soon as my visitors left. Maybe i shouldve listened a little closer and tried to communicate back but as a young teen, this was more than my mind was willing to cope with.
one of my best ufo experiences was probably 10 years ago..and i remember it like it was 5 min ago. After a full night of working on my beloved muscle car....i left my mates place where we worked on it, which was about 15 min from home and basically a country road with no street lights and very little traffic!! I saw 2 lights in the sky, they were kinda playing with each other, chaseing and playing is what it looked like they were doing...they wouldve been at least 20km away in the distance....suddenly they changed direction and wanting to follow them i did a u-turn, but managed to get the front of my car stuck in the ditch thats on both sides of the road. Knowing i wasnt going anywhere soon, i got out of the car and watched the light show! seemed like it was maybe 10min before another cars headlights distracted me from what i was looking at! it was a young man and his 6yr old daughter, hepulled up and asked if i was ok.....i simply asked him to 'look in the sky and tell me what you see'...making sure i wasnt imagining it. he stopped with his jaw wide open which kinda made me feel better about my own sanity!! he got his daughter out and held her in his arms and the 3 of us just sat there and watch for maybe 25mins! The little girl asked 'what are the lights daddy?'....we just looked at each other not knowing how to answer the curious mind of a 6yr old!! Another car came over the hill with high beam headlights that caught our attention, we looked back in the sky and they just simply vanished. That car also stopped and claimed he never saw anything. The guy got out and with a bit of man power we got my car out of the ditch and i was good to go. nothing else was said between the guy and his daughter and i!!! i drove home and it was like the light show i saw was just for me and the guy with his daughter!!! i was quite happy!!!

heres another story.....its from my father in law who served 20years in the australian navy.......hes got some great tales of mischief too!! he was onboard a train that was travelling through the middle of the outback desert in australia when suddenly the train came to a grinding halt in the middle of nowhere.....the train conducter asked everyone to stay inside but hardly anyone listened apparently.......what people saw must have been amazing........he swears black and blue that there was a ufo hovering about a foot above the tracks bout 100metres away and it stayed there for 10 min!!!! ill try and get more info from him about it!!!

I hate to sound like a sceptic (because I totally believe in life on other planets and I've seen the famed 'three lights in a triangle formation in the sky' myself) but that one sounds like this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Min_Min_light ...in the outback where the ground is very flat it's quite possible that the light could look like it's 100m away when it's really light from cars/houses/towns being reflected off the atmosphere on the horizon. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fata_Morgana_(mirage)

I don't discount the possibility of life on other planets, but the nearest planet to us (outside our solar system) is over 10 thousand light years away. If some other species wanted to know something about this planet, a probe or robotic ship (like we send out to Mars and other places) would be a lot more sensible than sending living sentient beings. So, probes from other places? I suppose its possible. Beings from other places? Too impractical to take seriously in my opinion.

i was reading something a few months ago about how these scientist have discovered a new galaxy.its the same as ours, earth moon sun ect ect.maybe these ufo's come from there lol.ive no idea to be honest,its all a mystery.

Are you confusing galaxies with something else? Our galaxy has approximately 300 billion stars in it. Perhaps you read something about the popular multiverse theories?

no its true jim,im not sure weather i should have used the word galaxy,but they deffo said theres another universe like the 1 we know.did you not hear about it,it was on the news aswell.

Another Universe would mean multiple universes, which was what I meant by multiverse theory. I understand a bit of it, and the various types, but I'm not certain it is fact, rather than theory. I think that a lot of what people take for granted as true is simply incorrect.
