Glad to see you're not letting facts affect your opinions

And the flag isn't fluttering, it's just not falling to the ground like it would on Earth due to the lack of gravity. It was taken out of storage, unfolded, and stretched out a bit and left.

regardless of date...i'm saying i don't believe it happened when they said it first did. MAYBE later on it did, but not when they first said.

Re: UFO / abductions / conspiracy theory

Back in the third grade, I had an inconsolable UFO exeriene, and you guys are the first to hear it. It was around mid-day, back over by the lower part of the playground area of Jean Hayman Elementry school. For some reason that I cannot explain, I just turned my head to the right and upward, and I saw something that even seven years latter, I can paint an extremely detailed picture. I saw the UFO, as clear as day, a perfectly circular body in the clear Elsinore sky, with the tip of the building of my classroom also in sight, a pale white, with the prickly kind of painting done.

When it comes to conspiracies and UFOs, Vril is what I think.

I'll summarise it later but if you're interested in the connection between Nazis and UFOs look up Vril Discs, it quite believable!

Re: UFO / abductions / conspiracy theory

You have to remember the historical context of the moon landings. We were in a massive 'Space Race' with Russia at the time. Radar, etc, existed at the time. The Russians had numerous ways to verify (and did) whether or not we landed on the moon. If we hadn't, they would have called us out on it in a second and it would have been a huge source of propaganda for them.

Don't think we landed on the moon? Just ask the Russians.

Unless, of course, the Cold War was all a conspiracy too, but I guess that road doesn't have an end, does it?

I think to say that we're the only intelligent life in the whole universe is arrogant. If you believe that, I have a bridge I would like to sell you.

Re: UFO / abductions / conspiracy theory

If there were aliens that actually had the ability to effectively travel to Earth, you would think they'd have better things to do than sneak around and probe people's butts. I mean, honestly, there can't be that much research to be done up there. Even then, they could just take some starving Africans that no one in power would ever know about or something, do whatever they want to, and take some flyby snapshots of the scenery, and get out. That would take a few days tops. Everything else they could probably do from high up in the atmosphere or in orbit. But we've been seeing UFO's for years. What reason would they honestly have to do this in the first place?

Maybe they're kinky or they heard we're full of poop. I don't think they know the difference from people in the U.S. or Africa. I think the Aliens have been here since they built the Pyramids.

Re: UFO / abductions / conspiracy theory

One way to verify the landing was a lunar reflector that was deposited on the moon.
The lunar surface has a low reflectivity quotient that could not bounce a directed beam of light, such as a laser beam.
At a specific set of coordinates, NASA placed several reflectors on the moon starting in '69 that they check daily. It's one of the longest running NASA experiments. they noted that the moon is gradually moving away from the earth at a rate of about 38mm annually. That degree of accuracy could not be achieved without the use of these reflectors...which were placed by the Apollo 11 crew and forward. The Russians also verified the findings of the US.

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lunar_L...ing_experiment

I think it would be foolish of us to think that there is nothing else in the entire universe, we have such a myopic view that is not limited by our technology alone, that we may never witness true contact. My guess is something is known about alien life, but we're being gradually conditioned to accept that concept.

We're so reluctant to change and accept new ideas and situations, it's no wonder we don't know of other life-forms, we can barely take care of ourselves.

I don't know if anyone posted this before, but this here is the Rosetta stone on this subject. If even 5% of this is true, it's very frightening. I personally believe most of it. It's a long read, but if you're open minded on this subject, it'll blow your mind.

Re: UFO / abductions / conspiracy theory

i have always been interested in aliens... it first started when i was in 4th grade and read a book talking about how theres so many weird mentionings of aliens and weird beings in the bible... after i started researching a lot. i would check out 10 alien books at a time from my library and come back the next day to check out more... than one day i just saw a picture of an alien... i dont know if it was like a descriptive picture that someone drew or something but i felt like i had seen it before... than come nightfall that some image came into my head and it would not leave... i was so terrified that i could not move... i tried to get up but i couldn't... i tried screaming and i couldn't... i went the whole night without sleep... after that i have always been terified of the dark... oh and i was also wondering if anyone ever feels like they dont belong with anyone else around them... i always have this weird feeling like everyone around me goes about their lives not concerned about anything like their brain can only carry out one function, and while they're trying to carry out their function i am thinking of billions of things at once that are greater than what is going on... like everyone is thinking of what to wear or stuff like that and im thinking of the many things that are happening in the universe and the things happening in out own government that people are so unaware of... well idk it might just be me...

Re: UFO / abductions / conspiracy theory

I'm sure there is life on other planets. If they are abducting peole, I'd wonder why they always keep snatching the uneducated hill people. I don't buy most conspiracies. I've been to the DMV and the Post Office, the government isn't smart enough for most of the stuff conspiracy theorists credit them with. I'm curious about the supernatural, but I'd sooner buy into most experiences being a misfire in the brain or even some weird energy field or other unexplained and hard to replicate instance. Most ghost stories seem to either be romantic/tragic fiction or peole trying to compensate for the idea of mortality. Basically, I'm open to anything but will take some serious convincing.
