Urgent! Help Needed! Please! Now! Help Me!

Hi, well my stupid friend just slammed the doorn at me and hit my toenail with the bottom, now i have no toenail, it still attatched to my thumb but toenail is still attatched, it is just lifted. Now what should i do? Should i pull it off? Or what? Please help me, its urgent, i'd rather now go to the hospital becuase we don't have any way to go.

I would clean it with some soap and water, then some peroxide and use a band aid to tape it back down. You will probably lose it anyway, but it will help keep it somewhat clean till your new nail grows in....I would wait to see what others say though.

wrap it up with a strip of an old t-shirt then pack it in ice (or a bag of frozen peas). Also raise it above head hight to slow down any bleeding.

DON'T rip it off. If it needs to come off it'll drop off by itself in the next few days.

Don't worry , you'll grow another one.

Pull it off! I've had in-growing toenails that were that bad I had to pull them off. It'll hurt, and make sure you have a lot of antiseptic cream and bandages handy!

clean/wash it, tape it up with a bandaid ASAP, ice it and elevate it and compress/wrap it for 30 minutes. then repeat every 15 min for 15 min.

leave it attached it will fall off eventually.. now is not the time to pull it off... g

So, I did you pull the darn thing or let it fall off? How's the toe? You can't start a nice morbid thread and then leave us hanging like a....well....a toenail that's been hit by a door! :-) It might have made a nice pick, anyway!
