VHS -> DVD: Halfway there, need help!

Alright, I've got a bunch of home movies and whatnot on VHS. I've got no problem ripping them to mpeg. I have some freeware that does a pretty good job of converting the mpeg to DVD files. It's the burning to DVD part that is a problem.

I've got no issue burning to DVD so I can watch the movies on a home player with sound and all that good stuff. TI don't know how to create chapters. I don't need anything elaborate... but I want to make a few DVDs that are made of multiple clips. So the chapter function would be a requirement for skipping from one clip to another. Menus would be fantastic, but not necessary if it's a huge pain.

Help? I have Nero professional, but I haven't found a way to do anything worthwhile with it. Maybe I'm just stupid?

Theres' an add-on for Nero called Showtime. It allows you to make your own movies for DVD or VCD and you can make chapters, menu screens, etc. It's quite good and user friendly. Keep an eye out for it.

I will look for that plugin. Thanks!

Funny thing, I was browsing my computer and found I had a version of easy cd-dvd creator installed (I think from the last drive I bought) and it did exactly what I wanted. Super easy interface (hence the name), but it would cause my computer to restart without warning during use. Oh well.
