Videos on iTunes

is there a way to put my videos into itunes? i've tried importing a few, but nothing happens.

i *think* you need version 6... im not sure... but just drag the movie icon into your library, is this for an ipod by anychance? because this was a great source of frustration for me...

i have version 6. no ipod for me, i just really like itunes' layout. i looked into this a bit more and apparently the videos need to be in a different format.
