Ibanez wont do anything. Vodaphone were problably legally advised to remove the Ibanez logo, but headstock, wasn't to much of a problem.

All to often do we see car commercials using angles of other well known cars to make a statement on their product.

Yeah, it would be different if they we selling the guitars for whatever reason. But just showing the headstock sans logo isn't really lawsuit material.

Like IbanezFreak777 said, just look at the car commercials for comparison. I see it a lot over here in commercials for motor oil. You can blatantly tell what car it is in the commercial, but all the badges have been removed.

If I was Ibanez I said "Look, use our gear all you want, just put the friggin badge on it so people know what it is!" Even if it's blurry, at least that way some kid might say "Mum I want a new guitar, I like the one on that vodafone ad!"

Not a big deal. TV and movies do this all the time. You will see a TV or monitor on a movie or show and they put tape across the product name, sodas, etc., any products.
