Quality!

Maybe I'll see you some time at the ACE Cafe for a beer and a perv at each others cars and the other cars over there too on one of the muscle car nights.

It may be worth just giving Autopontiac a ring. I know the name is "Pontiac" but he specialises in GM so knows the ins and outs of most of them. And it's probably not too far from you???? (right near Heathrow).

Yeah Heathrow isn't far. Infact I work quite near there. So what do you need to do to get your IROC-Z on the road?

Few bits and pieces. The mot ran out....and they are always scarey, especially on older cars!!! Still got water circulating probs and the battery is knackered

Funds have been too tight to splash out though Plus i use a works van to/from work so don't need a car for necessities!!!

Thats a real nice looking 85! I had a black 84 & charcoal/silver 85 which I painted the bottom to match the top half... both with the silver interior which I used to call the Ace Frehley option These days it's Camaro's & Impala SS's for me but I'm still quite active in the Corvette community here.

I dont know about the shipping costs & VAT etc... but checking out rockauto.com might be another option. I use them pretty often & the prices & shipping time has been excellent.

Right, got a crack in the radiator of my car, a Chevrolet Corvette, and they want £350 + VAT for a new radiator, just the radiator itself!

Can get one from a little as $140 from the states and get it shipped over!

Rant over!
Tax something enough, and it creates these little things known as the internet, or an underground market. Suddenly; the tax isn't really pullin' down the dough they projected it would.

Stinkin' idoit legislators. They're punks wantin' to spend more money to buy votes.

Order from the states, we need the income & the jobs! The local legislator there needs to lose this one.

Well.....cheaper than the £350 then

Worth a try though. I guess 'Vettes are just a lot more expensive then.

Re: What a rip off country!

Tits!

Zip is out of stock, so I've tried Mid American Motorworks who says it's all in stock, so just waiting to hear back from them with shipping details.

Anyone tried Ecklers? They never answer emails and when I rang them, they said email my enquiry, to the email address which doesn't respond to anyone!

Yes, I did. I've saved them to favorites. They are next in line. Hopefully I'll hear back from MAM soon!
