what is the PSP pandora-mod?

just bought myself a psp (the non-slim model) and i hear a lot of fuzz about a pandora-mod.

can someone fill me in on what this is?

isn't it Pandora battery, and it is when you use a magic mem stick and a pandora battery to downgrade the firmware to 1.5 if the firmware is past easy ways to downgrade

is it worth while to do this downgrade, and does the battery-change effect the time i can use the psp before i need charge it again?

Yes, you can change your battery only once to a pandora battery. I would suggest loaning a pandora battery from someone.

well if you want homebrew applications and things it is worth the downgrade, I have both slim and nonslim psp and I am going to buy myself a pandora battery/magicMS so I can downgrade for homebrew software. If you just want to use the psp for UMD's or music/video just upgrade firmware all the way and screw the pandora battery downgrade
