well ive not tasted it (you sick bugger!)
it hurts most when i push the surrounding area
i think it is a big blister with a couple of smaller verucas around it

could be the start of a Fungal Infection. Cut the area out with a knife, clean thoroughly, then apply copious amount of antiseptic and bandage for at least three days.

i like the sound of the hot salty water thing, drying it out sounds like a good plan!

ok half an hour in salt water followed by some anti septic cream seemed to stop it hurting so much when i walked on it, then a while after i put some bazuka (£5 that cost me!!) on it and that should help clear it up

Clean it with some alcohol, then hit it with a Makita palm sander with about a 150 grit paper...that should clear it right up.
