and most of all what makes me smile is knowing that (contrary to popular belief) there are VERY many good people everywhere

I get a good giggle everytime my youngest pup hears my roommate come in from outside. She'll bark like someone is breaking in and run to the door....as if she's going to do something about it. And he, of course, yells, "Shut the hell up you dumb POS dog!" She does it EVERY single time. It gets old to him, but I think it's hilarious!

When I come home and my boys tackle me, welcoming me home, yelling "DADDY ! ! !" That is about the coolest thing I can think of that make me smile.

change to "girls" in place of "boys" and "papa" in place of "DADDY" and that's it for me

When I'm onstage playing a solo improvising just watching my hands and listening to things I've never played before and I pull it off in front of an audience.... I get goosebumps. It is like an out of body experience.

I like when the music is greater than the sum of players - playing for the music is EVERYTHING.

My kids make me smile. My GF makes me smile (6yrs together as of last Sat ). 12/9/07*amendment: she no longer makes me smile

Someone mentioned "The Simpsons" and "Futurama"? Both are hilarious but incomplete without the trifecta of "Family Guy".
