Awesome. My cousin was stationed at the Embassy in France and Santiago Chile. He wasn't happy with Santiago and only went there under my advice. He's on his way back to Iraq for his third or fourth tour.
4 years to some sort of retirement? I'm guessin' you're probably 34 or so? I had six in and wished I'd never left. I know the reitrement isn't huge, but the benefits are great and you can start a new career at or about 40 years old.
The former Marine thing....come on Devil Dog, you know better than the "former" thing.
I love to call people Devil Dogs.

Re: What's everyone do for a living?
Nah, former Marine is the current 'in' term, it's 'ex-Marine' that's the big no-no.
Yeah, I'll be 36 in September, I didn't join till I was 20. I'm having a good time. Don't always love the Marine Corps, but I damn sure love being around Marines. And no you didn't just "DD" me?!?!
