Whats up with Jemsite?

I have been a member here since 2002. It is a wonderful site. And the maturity level here is unprecedented. People don't bicker and it really is a community.

BUT........

It was my understanding that being a contributor to the site was going to keep me from seeing ads for stuff I don't want.

It seems that these ads are slowly creeping into threads.

Have the rules changed? Are we going to have to start seeing ads for Musicians Friend?

There are enough people here that aren't contributors, to show your ads to. PLEASE LEAVE ME OUT OF IT!!!

That is only if you are a visitor or if you are not a contributor.

The classified section has multiple threads with ads.

Re: Whats up with Jemsite?

I very rarely see them even in the classifieds, I'd say its probably my 3rd most visited section too so maybe it's different for you

Re: Whats up with Jemsite?

You need to send a PM to danielb and let him know. I have not seen an ad in months.

My only problem is still the speed. I have noticed a bit of an improvement in the last few days, but still slower than normal.

If only we had a place where we could report issues with the forum software, and other related stuff like that...
