Where is everyone???? Jemmer, screamindemon, jemplayer55, Gilky, FloridaNative, Eggy, Euphor, Ollierocksthe80s, fettouhi, crevis, Gurj, passionandwarfare, mi2tom sickboy.....the list goes on and on...................even Glen hardly posts anymore!

Has Jemsite lost it's appeal or something? I like the ~new~ site....no major issues at all but when I log on during the day looking for some banter there seems to be nothing happening!

Anybody else frustrated with this? I think I might get a few leggy RG shots up soon....LET'S SPICE IT UP A BIT!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Yes, I have noticed the exact same thing. It seems like I've gone from posting a few times a day to posting a few times a week now. I don't mind the "new" site, but I think it's kinda thrown things off for me.

1. The dingo ate them
2. They were sucked into miniature black holes created by the LHC.

The speed of the site is very slow for me, so cruising the different pages takes forever. I get frustrated and leave, so whatever the problem is, I hope it gets corrected soon.

I think a lot of folks are working longer hours these days, and don't have the spare 'free' time to get online as much. Let's hope it's a short term thing

I do notice that this seems to happen in cycles, and it usually picks back up. I have also noticed the site running slower lately as well.

- Lack of cool guitars from Ibanez.
- Lack of cool artists.
- Nearly all topics have tons of threads about them.

I tend to agree with point 3, Lordie! But not point 1....2 80's reissues in 2 years??? C'mon man...plus I'm a huge RG Prestige fan from 2006 onwards. Those necks....oh those necks *drools*

Don't get me wrong... there's some nice guitars around. But lets take the jem line up for example.... and this is from the position of those (me) that like "tacky" neons and swirls and so forth... there's nothing like that around anymore. I duno... I'm just very nostalgic about the 80's and 90's. It seems both movies, music and guitar lineups were just so much better.

Now if you don't mind I'm gonna get back to my 90210 (90's version) DVD.

For me its the credit crunch / recession - working extra hours to try to make ends meet gives less time for relaxation, and computer games or forum time is the first thing to go, as its "non-essential" relaxation (as opposed to seeing family, birthdays, stuff you can't miss).....

I had to take a decent sized hiatus this year too. Sometimes you get that swamped that when you do get time, you don't want to come online and read 5,334,618,983 threads about how 'x' pickup will sound in my RG350 or like the other thread about Jap and Korean nuts lol
