Where do you register a .com domain?

I want to buy a .com domain, and I found a zillion sites oferring the registration.

Can you please tell me which one is reliable (after all, I'll give them my credit card number!)

I've always used register.com

No problems with them at all, and their tech support has always been very helpful.

I used go-daddy. It expired. 3 years ago yahoo made a discount for 5 years domain register.
I paid 13$ for 5 years
