So Steve Vai has a new DVD/CD/whatever called "Where the Wild Things Are".

Does anyone know if it is connected in any way to that new movie coming out with the same name?

"Where the Wild Things Are" is a picture book for children written by Maurice Sendak (the "Little Bear" illustrator) in 1963.

Here's one for ya. They shot and recorded the DVD at the State Theatre in Minneapolis, and I was going to go and see it by myself because A. the guy is a monster and B. how many times do you get to see one of your heros in a lifetime, and C, nobody I know appreciated the genius enough to take a chance. I changed my mind when I found out how much of a sur charge Ticketmaster was getting (almost 40%). I had no idea it was going to be turned into a concert film!! Still kicking myself.
