Re: Who is this dude?

Not bad. Seemed a bit sloppy in places, but that could be because I was not listening at higher volume

Love the four-finger tapping thing at around 1:43-1:49 and eight finger tapping at around 2:09.

Or because of how he holds the pick.

Re: Who is this dude?

You can see bits of Vai, Timmons and gambale, very good fusion of styles. He's certainly got an impressive trick bag. Bad tone but.

Re: Who is this dude?

This guy has been posted a half dozen times around here and I never get tired of hearing him play and watching him play that song. I actually had that video on the front page of my myspace for awhile along with Nori Bucci from Gamalon.
There are a few videos from him on youtube but I like this one the most.

That guy has insanely scary technique, and I really love the song too. Great combo of technique and musicality.

Re: Who is this dude?

Great Technique, but to me parts of it just didn't flow together very well. All and all though huge props to the guy!!

One of the few videos I've seen on there where the camera is actually focused on the guys hands, instead of his facial expressions!

Re: Who is this dude?

It didn't flow because it wasn't pre-recorded. I have no doubt that in the studio he'd make a masterpiece out of this by playing it in chunks, like everyone else does when recodring.

Re: Who is this dude?

I liked the tune, it's catchy. The dude has good technique and he certainly has a mixture of influences. Aside from Andy, Steve and Frank, I could also hear some Yngwie as well. Did you guys notice that fres 15-22 were scallopped? I think the reason why some people didn't like his sound is because the equipment he was using to record may not have been the greatest. All and all, I liked it.
