Would anyone care to comment on the Lost finale of season 3

So i just watched the last episode of season 3 and it was very interesting. Not as spectacular as the end of season 2 with the white magnetic pulse, but a real mindf_cker....

I liked it.

People complain about lost that its to confusing or whatever, BUT

It does exactly what the shows name suggests. Gets you lost.

Onto the episode.
So jacks back story this time ends up being in the future.

And it seems they have escaped the island. Who was dead in the coffin, my guess is BEN...

Jack was high on drugs, and not sure if you recalled but Jack tells the black doctor that he can go and get his dad and see who is more drunk. So in this reality jacks father doesn't die... Also in the first scene Jack is on a plane and Korean couple are sitting behind him hmmmmm ?

To many of these sorts of clues to talk about but thats just some

What did you guys think of it.... ??

True.

But I really don't know if I can go through another 3 whole seasons of Lost just to find out what the meaning to everything is. I think I may lose my way by then. They began to lose me towards the end of season 2, but then I picked it all up again when the 3rd season began.

I just want some answers after 3 seasons, it's getting a tad frustrating now.

It is very cleverly written though.

A friend of mine was joking that if he was lost on a Paradise-like island with Freckles, he'd blow up the submarine, too! LOL

SPOILERS

great episode, as most all of them have been. brilliant writing, filming & editing the sequences. i don't quite get the FF but perhaps it is a *possible* flashforward if they did actually get their way over Ben's wishes to destroy the phone.

i wouldn't be surprised if next season ep1 starts a different sidestory and then second episode we see the looking glass sequence where charlie is actually saved & then the sat phone linkup fails. if not the backstories would all become future stories. but there are so many possibilities setup by the writers. gonna be a long wait until january... glen

Re: Would anyone care to comment on the Lost finale of season 3

I don't think that Jack talking about his father really ment that he was alive. He was talking out of his ass to impress the other surgeon (and besides, he was really drunk/stoned).
Dominic Monaghan gave a lot of interviews pretty much confirming that he was out of Lost for good, so I don't think that the whole "we were just messing with you...Charlie is alive!" thing is going to happen.
And also, I don't think the writers have figured out who is in the coffin either :P

Great episode tough.

It looks like walt had an amazing growth sprint since he left the island in the end of season 2. I'm guessing that Jacob is communicating with John Lock through walt's image. He did ask for his help when they came to see him with Ben.

Ok Ive just seen it.Why did Charlie have to die,he could have locked the door from the other side and lived and told Desmond about Penelope properly. Why did Locke kill Naomi so she didnt use the phone then just let Jack use it?I enjoyed it but now have to wait until next year!

Because he tought that it was his destiny to do so, to get everyone rescued. He didn't thinked it through, he just did it because he tought he just had to.
