Wow do the Packers ever stink.
Not that it is a surprise. That's all, carry on.

Re: Wow do the Packers ever stink.
I feel for you Jay. It's a mighty sad day, seeing the mighty Favre powerless to pull out a win. It reminds me of the waning days of the Unitas era. No matter how hard he tried, he just didn't have the strength to stand up against the younger, up and coming defenses. His body was battered and even with all of the courage and quarterback savy in the world, could not find the means to dominate opponents as he once did. Favre should retire this year before the team is forced to humiliate him by either trading (not likely) or by not renewing his contract.
On to my side of the NFL world. The Ravens suck donkey balls. Even with one of the most dominating D's in the NFL, our O line has more holes in it than a 10 pound wheel of Swiss cheese. Our backs will be lucky to rush for more than 60-80 yards per game. Our steadily dwindling talent pool of QBs will be lucky to survive this season, let alone pass for more than 200 yards per game. Any team facing us with even a moderately quick D line will be all over our QB. What a waste it was to sign a WR as talented as Derrick Mason when the guys up front blocking can't even protect the QB long enough for him to set up in the pocket for a 3 step drop.
If any other franchise is interested, the fans of Baltimore style football have given me the power to trade Brian Billick, Jonathan Ogden, Ed Mulitalo, Deion Sanders, Randall Cunningham and a 2nd round pick in the '06 draft for 4 semi-talented O linemen with the desire to protect the passer and open up a few rushing lanes. Any takers can send me a PM and we'll talk.

The game ended up being halfway decent. First time the team has showed any interest in winning a game in months.
Anyway - Glen, tell Tuna to stop being a moron and run the hell out of Julius Jones. Sunday I saw Dallas inside the Oakland 5 yard line twice. Out of those two trips I think they gave Jones the ball once... and got 3 points combined out of the whole ordeal.
I know Parcels thinks he has this great pool of young talent at RB, but tell him to save the guys for when Jones' knees have given out. Until then, he's killing my fantasy team!

LOL. Tuna is making some seriously dumb in-game playcalling. total non-use of the best TE in the NFC and ultra-conservative with a gunslinging QB (and entire rookie D) mindboggling really he's throwing away games like Philly throws away superbowl opportunities!
GB will be having many top-3 draft picks in the upcoming years

Yeah - there are a lot of bummed GB fans. After all, they aren't used to being this bad ( I won't say terrible...yet
...even though..I was impressed with Brett Farve's comeback attempt. It's a start at least. Good luck!
ps - GO Broncos (sorry, couldn't help it

Re: Wow do the Packers ever stink.
I'm a Vikings fan and they're not doing much better. :-/
I still think they'll win the division though.

i think the Lions, at 4-12, will with the North.
GB is 0-4 and only 1.5 games out of first.

Re: Wow do the Packers ever stink.
I think the Pack and the Lions will tie at 6 wins each and the winner will be picked by points scored, the Pack wins

Re: Wow do the Packers ever stink.
^ you think the winner of the division will only have 6 wins? As bad as the NFC north is, 6 is a bit low. The Vikings are in a slump right now due to injuries and Culpepper isn't comfortable at the moment but over time they will start winning.

Re: Wow do the Packers ever stink.
Considerring they have to play each other twice I'll bet somebody can sneak out to 8 and 8.

Re: Wow do the Packers ever stink.
I think the Vikings problem is the lack of Randy Moss.
