Re: Wow new Dodge Challenger

Yeah, I realized it after I posted, but the important thing is they are rediculous, not where they are from. Even Cavaliers or Cobalts and Neons dressed up like that are ***.

It really does. I like it, even though I'm a Chevy guy!

It's real nice, but I like the new Camaro better. Moreover, I don't like the new Mustangs!

i dare you to put one of those to race against a '73 T/A or any mustang or camaro for that matter. big wings, stickers, and mufflers that make the car sound like a fly do not make it faster. sorry, i really do hatae "tricked out" imports with an undying passion. I think the challenger you saw may have been a test car. did it have a bra on it or anything of the sort? it does look aggressive and quite promising. ford, chevy, and dodge are hopefully gonna get rid of those crackerboxes on the streets once and for all. anyway, my rant..... take in as needed or wanted.

Another inefficient muscle car when gas prices keep going up and up. How about a new SUV that seats 11?

On your just getting "OLD" Jay

I think it's sweet!! I love the way they have gone back to the early muscle car era theme.

Along with the Ford Stang and of course the new (old) Camaro in the works.

The 69 SS's and Z28's are my fav's. (and no, I'm not that old)

If you can afford the gas and like to have fun, why not???

Newer, we'll see what's out there when I have the money. I almost bought an 01 a few months ago then got a new job that came with a big paycut, so it has to wait a year or 2.

There's the perfect 69 Camaro for sale right by me, convertible, white with hugger orange stripes, it would be mine if I could figure out a way to get some extra $$$ without selling all my guitars.

Re: Wow new Dodge Challenger

I'm buyin' an early '60s Chevy Deuce as soon as I win the lottery. It will have a small block 283 V8, bored for racing with full flow heads, manifolds and headers. I'm gonna keep it street legal, so a supercharger is out. We'll stick with a nice set of intake pipes stickin' out the hood! Inside, besides a full roll cage, I'll need a nice sound system - something loud and bracket mounted in the rear seat area for easy removal on race days. 2 removable leather buckets and racing seat up front will do.

Any color suggestions?

* Back on topic. The Charger is nice, but I'll wait until the GMs are on the street before I pick my favorite of the new muscle bound gas guzzlers.
