xbox360 advice

how do you get xbox games to work on a xbox360 console,theres a list on xbox website listing all the xbox games compatable for the 360,,but this tells lies as i bought 4 xbox games and none of them worked on my 360.ive heard theres a disc you can run on the 360 to make games compatable..has anyone else had this problem cheers rob.

Yes, it's very important that you do the updates.
Whenever the list changes (more games are added), you will most likely need to do another update. I just do them automatically, even though I haven't purchased any games on the list.
I try to be ahead of the game, so to speak.....

Get xbox live and its automatic.

Hacking your console always helps, also means you can be smug and complete Halo3 a day before it comes out. If your gonna do that just don't be idiot use the stealth patches.

all my friends have been banned that have modded their consoles, they used stealth patches and didnt run around using hacks so every1 would report them, they still got banned from live. luckily they can play on Xconnect still
