Question

Your top 10 music DVD's?

IbanezGirl, that would be a good poll!

The only music DVD's I watch are of Joe Satriani and Steve Vai. So I'm not able to post a top 10. But of all the Satriani/Vai/G3 DVD's, my favourite would have to be 'Joe Satriani/Eric Johnson/Steve Vai in concert'.
It's still the coolest DVD that has been released. I think.

A week from when I posted this thread, I'll post the poll.

Cool idea, LrigZenabi.

Kind regards,

Re: Your top 10 music DVD's?

In '99 i was in one of my phases, which happened to be DVDs at that time.
I went on a quest to find the best reference quality in both picture and audio in music DVDs. If you're into this type of quality, these suggesstions might help.

The Eagles - Hell Freezes Over
George Benson - Absolutely Live
Diana Krall - Live In Paris
Tina Turner - One Last Time Live
Eric Clapton - Unplugged
James Taylor - Live At The Beacon Theatre
Peter Frampton - Live In Detroit
Carole King - In Concert
Roger Waters - In The Flesh Live
Fleetwood Mac - The Dance
ELO - Zoom
Bad Company - Merchants Of Cool
Don Henley - Live Inside Job
Joe Satriani - Live In San Fransisco

It's been quite awhile since i've purchased a music DVD, so there's probably more quality released titles that could be added to the above list now.

My top eleven at the moment would be:
Hell Freezes Over
Magnum - Livin' The Dream
Roger Waters - In The Flesh
G3 - Live in Denver
ACDC- Stiff Upper Lip or Family Jewels
David Gilmour In Concert
Joe Satriani - Live In San Fransisco
Lee Ritenour - Overtime
Queen - Live At Wembley Stadium
Dream Theater - Live At Budokan
Steve Vai - Live At Astoria

Sorry Myst and rain, but it's the best quality released music DVD that Warner Vision have done. however, some have come very very close to topping it.

I do like 'Hotel California'. It's allright. It's got a cool solo at the end, too. And 'Life in the fast lane.'. It's got a cool riff.

By the way, you should check out Seinfeld episode 7, season 8. It envolves 'Desperado' and 'Witchy woman'. It's really cool.

Kind regards,
Myst and rain

Re: Your top 10 music DVD's?

Hi everybody,

Don't forget to post your favourite music DVD's here, if you want your votes to count for the poll! A lot of people apparently have missed the 'Your movie top 5?' thread. Seeing that a lot of people posted their top 5's after the poll was already posted. So, just a reminder here.

Kind regards,
Myst and rain
