I already posted the entire DVD contents on page 1 of this thread. It's all at satriani.com for anyone who's interested.

the setlist isn't really all that similar. He doesn't play any songs from the Crystal Planet album and also plays a lot of stuff from his newest album Super Colossal.

To be honest, I didn't really either at first. I was all psyched when I found out there was a new album, but when I first heard it, it was kind of a disappointment. But I just kept listening and, after a couple of days it just changed. It took a while before I really 'got' the songs. 'One robot's dream', for instance. At first I didn't know what to make of it. All these cascading melodies... I had to listen to it a couple of times before I 'got' it. Same for a lot of other songs. Like 'Made of tears' etc. But as I said, I just kept listening. And now, along with Crystal planet, it's my favourite Satriani album. So IbanezGirl, I'd recommend you to reconsider!

And don't forget all the cool bonus material on the DVD! That alone is worth a small investment, IMO.

Myst and rain, you'll be happy to know, i borrowed this cd off a friend today and relistened too it a couple of times, especially Made of Tears. You are right, it certainly does grow on you.

I think Made of Tears will quickly become a favourite.

I might re-think my decision about purchasing this DVD

Hmmm, dont really care for the covers, i just wanna see the inside. At this rate, i'll watch anything since there arent many shred artists making vids nowadays.
