D'addario vs Ernie Ball

So, I tried out some Ernie Ball Regular Slinkys, and to be honest, not impressed at all. With me they corroded within the first few days, so I'm intrested in seeing what you guys think of them compared to other brands (especially D'addario). Brightness, Action Buzz, Intonation, Durability etc.

I should add you put only 2 brands in this. There are a lot more.

I only put two brands because I only wanted to comapre the two that I had switched from.

D'addario's for me.

I used Ernie Ball for years, but D'addario sound just a bit longer bright imo.

i vote ernie because on the pack it says vai, gilbert jimmy page use them...

but seriously, they're the only brand i use (10-46) and i've been using them for like 2 years because i can't be bothered trying anything else. they seem to work fine.

IŽve used DŽAddario, Dean Markley and Ernie ball. Dean Markley and DŽAddario are stiffer to me but sound a little better. I prefer DŽAddarioŽs playability. With them loaded the trem gargles like mad but the G string is harmonically "dead" in most of the packs I have bought.

Ebs feel horrible to me after about two hours of playing.

I have tried both and I don't really pay much attention to which one is better but I do tend to find myself buying Ernie Ball Slinkys more often than not

it only says on the EB pack that vai, page, gilbert etc because they pay them millions of dollars to endorse them.

Erine Ball seems to work with all of my guitars well.
Tried D'addario, and they died really really quick.
And they didn't seem to stay in tune as well.
And I can't stand anything coated.
Each to their own.

I prefer Ernie Ball to D'addario. By a lot. Of course I prefer DR to Ernie Ball but...

I use EB on my 7 string, and D'addario on my 6 string. I tend to play my 7 more often.....

D'Addario have the colored ends, that look nice and pretty on my headstock.....

D'Addario for me. I tried them once and sticked with them.
