Re: Do you guitars have different string gauges?

10-52's on all guitars in D standard and Eb standard, 9-46 for E standard

7 strings, as above but add either a 68 (A standard) or a 62-64 (B standard)

Something like that anyway!

All depends on the tuning, but generally a light top, heavy bottom set

Re: Do you guitars have different string gauges?

I have lots of different gauges on lots of different guitars in lots of different tunings.

9's and 10's on standard. 10-52 or 11's on guitars in drop C, 12's for drop B. Standard 7 string gauge on 7 in standard B. I use a 56 on a 7 in drop A.

Re: Do you guitars have different string gauges?

I keep it pretty close. Hybrid Slinkys (9-46) on most of my guitars, but Elixir 9-42 on my floyd-ed axe (cuz the strings last like 9 months and no one likes changin' strings on a floyd )

I've got EB 10-52's on my Ibanez, and EB 11-54's on my strat. You get used to 'em, and I can hear em better when I'm noodling on the sofa.

Re: Do you guitars have different string gauges?

9's on Jem
10's on almost everything else. I use coloured strings on almost everything
I did use the ZW set on my Les Paul copy, but I discovered I wasn't man enough and went back to 10's.

ZW has threatened to come to my house to give me a Chinese burn unless I man up.
