Re: Fastest Player.
In a seperate poll it turns out that I'm the fastest player ever. Beyond forever even. There have been bodies turning up everywhere - destroyed by my speed and raw power. Even faster and deadlier than Petrucci. So there you have it.

Re: Fastest Player.
Fastest player? ...
John McLaughlin
.
I've never seen anyone play that fast, or that clean, and especially on a classical guitar.

John's hella fast, but he's far from matching up against Thal, Lane and Cooley.

I'd like to see any one of those guys play even remotely as clean and fast on a classical guitar as John Mclaughlin, and actually play musical sclaes too. IMO it is much easier to **** it up on a UV with EMG's through a
Bogner Uberschall
, than it is to shred jazz on a classical guitar. But don't get me wrong I think Cooley is fast as hell, but his talent seems to stop there.

Francisco Fareri-Suspension. Check out the sweeps starting at 48 seconds. I absolutely HATE this song but he's fast.

Re: Fastest Player.
Michael Romeo
is the fastest I've seen. I've seen many Rusty, Fareri, Angelo, Vai videos. No one is faster than Romeo I think.
Moreover, he draws circles around all of these when it comes to composing

I have that video and he is way faster than any of the others mentioned and that video is the proof. MAB is an old lady in a walker in comparison. Not that tremendous speed means a rat's a$$ in the grand scheme of things except *lots* of practicing.
I would have to second McLaughlin on acoustic though.
I'm personally the fastest on the kazoo.

Re: Fastest Player.
Angelo and Yngwie are probably the fastest, although they are completely different types of players!
