Re: fav guitar brand besides ibanez

Re: fav guitar brand besides ibanez
Some of the new
custom shop
models are probably the best guitars I have ever played. The 25th anni. model is just unbelievable!

What??need a trem? Horizon has a trem ,unless it orders. Which model is that? Horizon 1,2,3 or Custom?
Ps

Occasionally, guitars made for employees had no serial numbers. That is somewhat rare, though. My brother has an '89 Soloist with a
reverse headstock
that has no serial number (which in your friend's case would be RRxxxx on the 22nd fret, or Jxxxxxx if it was a '91 Professional model). If you look under the trem cover or sometimes even the
truss rod cover
, you can often find the work order number. Since Fender took over Jackson it's been almost impossible to trace back the info on the original bui8ld from the work order, but that may change again in the future. Of course, there are those guitars floating around that used to have serial numbers, but I guess we all know that story.
There are NO Rhoads prototypes floating around, though. All of the very earliest Rhoads guitars went to Randy (and would have been early 80's, not '91), and they are currently in his mother's possession.

Edit: Rhoads have 22 frets, not 24, sorry!

Re: fav guitar brand besides ibanez
FENDER!!!
my fav guitars are
fender strat
and jaguar.
strat is fantastic guitar, i like look and style of that guitar! BUT i play some heavy and rock-ish music. so once i've told myself that i want strat with 24 frets, floyd and HSH! one month later i checked in ibanez.com and........ saw himself with jem
hehe!
so my fav guitars are
fender strats
, jaguars and RG shaped ibanezes with pickguards!

Re: fav guitar brand besides ibanez
Jackson Soloist
, Fender Strats, they are nice guitars to play,
Gibson Les Paul
and custom guitars like Suhr, Tom Anderson. And Charvel is also one of my favourites.

Re: fav guitar brand besides ibanez
Jackson for me. all of the USA models i have ever played are just amazing pro guitars. they are instruments rather than just a "guitar" to me. don't shoot me for saying it but if i was ever in a position to get endorsed, i wouldn't even hesitate to go with Jackson. i love my
Ibanez guitars
and bash any Jackson guys at their forums when they say "I been hads" and the Jem grips are for taking them back to the repair dept. i always seem to take it personally for some reason like as if they are calling my girlfriend a name or something.
