Wow, I didn't even see Cornell on there! He's got a great voice. I wasn't too impressed with his latest solo CD, but I love all his work with all his other bands.

Along with Cantrell, I also picked Dean DeLeo of STP. Those first few albums (namely Core and Purple) showcase some incredible creative guitarwork.

Jerry Cantrell... although if adam jones had of been there i would have chosen him.

Not much love for Corgan- but I picked him. Love the songwriting, riffs and solos.

And if you've only heard of kurt cobain, then you probably don't recognize these guys by name, but I guarantee you know them by the bands they play in. In order, Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, Red Hot Chili Peppers, R.E.M., Alice in Chains, Pearl Jam, Nine Inch Nails, Jane's Addiction (among others), Fugazi (and a couple of others), Stone Temple Pilots, Rage Against the Machine, Foo Fighters, Porno the Pyros, Primus, and Soundgarden

I picked Cantrell. He is a great honest guitar player. Writes some killer riffs and awesome songs. He has a great voice too. His and Staley's voices worked great together...

I would of also pick Dave Grohl. He comes up with some pretty interesting chord progressions. He also writes killer songs and cool riffs. Also another great vocalist...and drummer.

I love Nirvana, but come on.... Kurt couldn't play for ****. He wrote great songs, but his playing was terrible.

I would have to disagree about Cobain's lack of skill. Soloing isn't the only thing that makes a great guitar player. But he could, just listen to Bleach. Grohl's riffs on the Protbot album kick ass!!

Killer riffs, dark and atmospheric music, and the
best harmonies. AlC kicked all their collective asses.

Not much love for Frusciante? He's my fav. Just listen to Blood Sugar Sex Magic, his tone is awesome!
