Dave Grohl I like the Foo still. The other bands I lost interest in during highschool. I'm not trying to insult them but I just grew out of their music.

I put Navarro and Grohl...

I disliked, in a major way, Janes Addiction, RHCP, and Nirvana...Somehow though, they both made it out and have some solo credibility. RHCP w/Navarro was a little easier to stomach though. I like what Navarro and Grohl have done after those horrible, yet monetarily fruitful, mistakes...

Not a popular thing to say here, but I actually liked Nirvana! Also liked a lot of the bands those guys were in, particularly RATM, Soundgarden, AIC and the Foo Fighters

Dave Navarro was great in Janes Addiction, too bad his Chilli Peppers time was the begining of them making crappy music.

Jerry Cantrell...

He's just a straight up rock guitarist. And a really good one at that. REALLY good. I saw him last year, and his tone was incredible. It was probably the best sounding show I've ever been too. Sure, he's not a shred freak, but he notes when to play the right notes tastefully. Definitely in my top 3 players.

Frusciante, Picciotto, DeLeo, Morello, DiStefano (and Vai, Satriani, Petrucci, Romeo, Angelo, Bratta etc)... how many lazy italians spending days strumming the guitar instead of going to school... Cantrell's the man for me. if it wasn't a guitar players poll i'd vote for Grohl.

close between cornell and cantrell for me, i picked cornell for his sound of his vocals, yer cant really beat his voice for a rock voice
