Favorite Guitar Headstock?

Ibanez pointy for me but jackson standard are a very close second! not keen on jackson reverse but kramers reverses are q nice, ibanez pointy reverses scare me :S even if the mighty PG might have a few

I have to go with Caparison (devil's tail) headstocks. Theses guitars are only made in Japan and are extreamly hard to get ahold of in the States.

I love the big headstock of early 70īs fender stratocasters.
gorgeous. My dream guitar would be the Jason Becker Model
(by Peavey) with the maple neck but with a big headstock like the early 70īs fender stratocasters and preferable made by Ibanez rather than Peavey. Thatīd be awesome. And Iīd like one with floyd and one with single coils and a fender trem.

and I like the PGM and JEM too of course.

I used to like the small Strat headstock, but I got over it. Never liked that it wasn't angled back, just flat.

The ESP ones look cool, but there's nothing protruding on one side, so if you try to hang them by the neck the guitar hangs at a weird angle, so I don't like that. Jacksons are very similar, but hang properly.

I don't like reverse headstocks because they're a pain in the ass to tune, don't like 3+3 or 4+2 (EBMM) headstocks for the same reason. Could be just a matter of what I'm used to though.

Ultimately, I like the normal Ibanez one the best, but Jacksons are a close second.

Robin headstocks are probably my least favorite..


Look at the angle the strings come off the nut -- sideways, not to mention, butt ugly.

I like the pointy headstock... when your bass player screws up a song a good poke in the eye sets him strait.

ipersonally like the Ibanez head, but really like the PRS head more. It is a little shorter, and I prefer 3 by 3 tuners, just a preference...

Other than that, I also like the standard Ibanez as well as the old Roadstar II. Jacksons too, either normal or reversed, exept on a "V" guitar, reversed looks wrong.
