Favorite Vai Album

For me it is without a doubt "Fire Garden". First time I heard "The crying machine" I was hooked. All the songs on Phase I on that record are amazing!

After that I'd say "Passion & Warfare" and "Alien Love Secrets".

Sadly I feel that after Vai released "Fire Garden" it's all been downhill. I mean, they are good, but I won't really go WOW when I listen to them.

I like Vai 20 times better live than on any recording so I would say I like Live at eh Astoria the best. Maybe Alive in Ultra World and Sound Theories are tied for second.

I don't really have a favorite Vai album because I feel like all of his albums have some weak spots...but if parts of Passion and Warfare, Alien Love Secrets, and Real Illusions were combined that for me would be the perfect Vai record.

My favourites would be Sex and Religion and Real Illusions: Reflections. I just love them so very much.
