Goldboy
I was just wondering how many people would be exited about the idea of the release of a golden JS?
Who knows, it might happen for the JS20th next year.
Personally, I wouldn't really like it.

Re: Goldboy
I think it would be cool. I heard that someone actually made a goldenboy and gave it to Joe as a present. I remember Rich telling the story on a thread somewhere.

Re: Goldboy
didn't they have a goldboy planned at one time or another and due to the chromeboy fiasco in 1990 it was canned? i can't recall and never had interest in JS axes.
That said, i voted no because i want ibanez to stop releasing "signature models" that are not associated with artists. there are several guitars that satch plays live which can be adapted into future models (limited and full production).... glen

Re: Goldboy
Check this out. Somebody photoshopped these.
It looks cool, but I'd prefer something else.

I agree. I've never seen Joe play a BTB, for instance.
A
production model
of 'The snake' would be cool. Wishful thinking of course, but nevertheless.

Yeah, I agree +1000. It would be nice to see Ibanez make the snake as a production model so I could put it next to these:

That JS with a flames and a silver surfer in the back would be MINDBLOWING

Re: Goldboy
Those are beautiful, Jimmy! Wow. I love the PRM.
And I used to think the BP blew. But after I saw it in the new live DVD, it started to grow on me. The finish looks pretty cool up close.

Anything but that one.
Just like the pea**** JS.
If they did something with the silver surfer on another JS, that would be cool, though.

Re: Goldboy
They already did a gold JS -- the JS2000. Only a handful of people DIDN'T think the finish sucked. I know, I know -- that's not the finish you were talking about. But instead of trying to figure out how to make a goldboy, they need to first figure out how to make a chromeboy that can actually be manufactured and delivered in quantity.
Bring on the snakes and some of the other older graphic designs.

Goldboy! Hmm I like that idea.
And if it sounds anything like the Chromeboy...
