How nervous do you get before a gig?

I have a gig coming up in a couple of days. It's the first real bar gig I've done in a long time. I'm getting pretty nervous although I know I will be fine once I get up on stage.
So I'm just wondering for members that play regularly, do you still get nervous before a gig?

I can't remember a time that I wasn't anxious....... But that varies from person to person.

I can stay very nervous when the equipment isn't the right one, poor amplifiers or irregular DC voltage.
And it's occurs a lot downside here.
Also, buttterflies thing here is a GEEEEY'ish thing, if you know what i mean

It depends on how large the audience is but once I get out there and I start Rocking and get into the music I forget about it!!!

I used to be fine, but I've got my first gig in almost 2 years coming up as a debut show with my band. I'm ****ting myself inside out at the thought of it.

I just picture in my head the audience naked and then I'm not nervous.

I remember my first gig ever (a long time ago). Boy was I scared ****less! Since then it's become rather routine. I get excited but not nervous.

For my first bar gig (18 years old) I skipped all the solos. LOL I was afraid to play them. By the second set I was fine.

I typically can't see the audience anyhow. If the lights do go down and the house lights come up I'll look for a friendly face in the crowd.

I just remembered, I have a hard time looking at anyone in the audience. It feels like I'm being arrogant or something, so I tend to only look to the back of the venue and hope everyone thinks I'm looking at the audience 'in general'.
Does anyone else get that?

Never really been nervous as such. The smaller the audience the more im "aware" that they are there but after i played to 500 people with a brass band i dont get nervous.
